A delegation from the Bremen region of Germany entered Iran for a period of 6 days from the 20^th to the 26^th of Feburary 2016. The delegation consisted of officials and business men from a wide range of industries indigenous to the Bremen region including Automobile manufacturing, aerospace and aviation, food and beverage, luxury products, renewable energy, life sciences, logistics and shipping. The main objective for their tour was to explore the Iranian market and to find potential partners for future collaboration and cooperation. To this end the delegation travelled to Isfahan and in particular to Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) and Isfahan Regional Center for Technology Incubators and Science Parks Development under the Auspices of UNESCO (IRIS) on the 24^th of February 2016. Upon arriving at ISTT the delegation first attended a meeting with ISTT and IRIS’s management teams. After which they participated in a tour of ISTT and also visited a couple of ISTT’s tenant companies. Upon the conclusion of the tour the German representatives attended a business matching session each with a similar Iranian counterpart settled in ISTT to explore the possible ways to move forward. Before their departure, the German delegation expressed great enthusiasm towards building a future filled with close partnership and business ties beneficial to both Iranian and German businesses.
